PRINCIPAL
SCOT STEELE
Over the past 30 years, I have led many teams to higher levels of efficacy through building properly structured organizations, improving employee skills, and increasing employee engagement. I started The Steele Method to bring my process to small and medium size businesses and entrepreneurs to serve that community. I’m proud to say I’ve coached hundreds of leaders and contributors to develop their skills in support of their career goals.
What Others Are Saying
Scot is a motivating force-multiplier; never hesitating to mentor others and share his strong business and people acumen – holistically bolstering the organization’s total capability. Scot designed, developed, implemented, and executed the org’s inaugural Leadership Development Program for front-line, tactical leaders and individual contributors alike. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to complete this program which exposed the participants to industry best-practices, leadership lessons, org leader perspective, and solving org problems with solutions presented to org leaders. I directly contribute an increase in my own capability as a leader to this program.
Nick K.
Scot is a natural mentor and leader. Never in my life have I met anyone more passionate about, or capable of, bringing to fruition the potential of others. It is clear to me that empowering others to take control of their futures is one of the primary ways Scot measures successes.
My colleagues and I have had the pleasure of being mentored by Scot in leadership and career development. He created and ran several initiatives within our organization, providing us with materials and support to outline our mission statements and career plans. With Scot’s strong emotional intelligence, he leads in a way that is both inspiring and intelligent.
Navi K.
Scot has a tenacity for bringing people together to meet goals driving collaboration and communication required when trying to deliver in an innovative space that is not always well defined at the start. Scot’s communication skills are above average as his role required frequent updates to executive leadership. One of Scot’s many strengths is his ability to listen to his team members and partner teams. He does a great job taking in information to form a path forward leading discussions which at times are hostile due to the pressures of delivery.

HOW THE STEELE METHOD WORKS
Step 1.
Employee/company Goal Alignment
The organization defines objectives; employees develop goals in sync with those objectives.
Step 2.
Contributorship Training
Performance levels rise as teams learn to add the value of their own experience to the company’s growth.
Step 3.
Performance Management
Employees and managers evaluate their progress based on the aligned goals, removing roadblocks and making adjustments to meet demands/deadlines.
Step 4.
Intrinsic Rewards Implementation
Employees feel a sense of belonging, accomplishment, mastery, progress, purpose, and autonomy through awards from the performance management process.
